1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, registering with, posting on, messaging through, purchasing from, or otherwise using Mobility Parts Forum (“the Platform”, “the Website”, “we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.

If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Platform Purpose

Mobility Parts Forum exists to help users publish and discover information relating to mobility scooters, powerchairs, mobility equipment, parts, accessories, repairs and related services.

The Platform may allow users to:

• Publish classified listings.
• Publish parts requests.
• Publish repair requests.
• Reply to listings or requests.
• Send messages and attachments.
• Purchase credits, boosts, subscriptions or memberships.
• Access contact information where permitted.
• Appear in directories or featured placements.

Any transaction, repair, advice, purchase, sale, collection, shipping arrangement or service agreement occurs solely between users independently of Mobility Parts Forum.

3. No Verification, Endorsement or Guarantee

Mobility Parts Forum does not guarantee, certify, inspect, approve, recommend, endorse or verify any user, business, dealer, engineer, repairer, seller, buyer, listing, part, product, advice, service, technical claim, safety claim, compatibility claim or repair.

Badges, membership labels, profile labels, featured placements, boosts, rankings, verified markers, business labels or account types do not mean that a user is safe, qualified, competent, honest, legal, insured, accredited or suitable.

Users must carry out their own checks before dealing with any person or business.

4. User Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for:

• All content they post.
• The accuracy of listings, requests and messages.
• Ownership and legality of any item offered.
• Product descriptions and compatibility claims.
• Payments, collections, shipping, returns and refunds between users.
• Repairs, installations, modifications and safety checks.
• Compliance with local, national and international laws.
• Any personal or business information they choose to share.

Use of the Platform is entirely at the user’s own risk.

5. User-Generated Content

Listings, repair requests, parts requests, messages, replies, comments, advice, images, attachments, technical information and all other user submissions are user-generated content.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, legality, safety, suitability, completeness or reliability of user-generated content.

We may remove, edit, restrict, suspend or refuse any content at our discretion.

7. Messages, Attachments & Monitoring

Users may be able to send messages and upload attachments including images. Messages and attachments may be monitored, reviewed, stored or removed for safety, fraud prevention, moderation, dispute handling, platform protection and legal compliance.

Users must not send or upload:

• Illegal, offensive, abusive, threatening or harassing content.
• Sexual, adult, violent, hateful or exploitative material.
• Weapons, controlled substances or prohibited goods.
• Counterfeit, stolen or unsafe items.
• Malware, viruses, tracking files or harmful code.
• Spam, scams, phishing attempts or misleading offers.
• Content unrelated to mobility equipment, parts, repairs or services.

Users who abuse the messaging system may have their messages removed, account restricted, account suspended or account terminated without refund.

8. Prohibited Goods & Conduct

Users must not use the Platform to advertise, request, trade, promote or arrange:

• Illegal goods or services.
• Stolen goods.
• Counterfeit products.
• Weapons, ammunition or explosives.
• Controlled substances or drug-related items.
• Adult sexual content or services.
• Hazardous materials not suitable for public sale.
• Unsafe battery packs, dangerous electrical modifications or unlawful repairs.
• Any item or service prohibited by applicable law.

We may cooperate with law enforcement or relevant authorities where necessary.

9. Payments, Credits, Boosts & Subscriptions

Fees paid to Mobility Parts Forum relate only to Platform services such as credits, contact access, listing boosts, subscriptions, memberships, advertising visibility, featured placement or promotional tools.

Credits, boosts and paid visibility services may be consumed immediately once used and may be non-refundable except where required by law.

Paid membership, subscription or promotional features do not guarantee enquiries, sales, repairs, successful transactions, search ranking, customer leads or income.

We are not responsible for payment disputes, returns, refunds, collections, shipping, misdescribed goods, failed repairs, failed transactions or fraud between users.

10. Contact Information & Data Sharing

Users may voluntarily provide names, phone numbers, email addresses, business details, locations or other contact information.

By submitting contact information, users understand that it may be shared with other users where required for listing replies, parts requests, repair requests, lead generation, directory enquiries, contact unlocks or agreed communication.

Mobility Parts Forum is not responsible for how another user uses information after it has been shared. Users should exercise caution before disclosing personal or business information.

11. Account Suspension, Removal & Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to remove content, restrict accounts, remove badges, suspend users, terminate accounts, block access, refuse service, cancel listings or remove paid visibility at our discretion.

Refunds are not guaranteed where removal or restriction results from suspected fraud, abuse, safety concerns, prohibited content, fee circumvention, platform misuse or breach of these Terms.

12. No Warranty

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uptime, uninterrupted access, error-free operation, successful transactions, user legitimacy, listing accuracy, message delivery, data preservation or Platform availability.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mobility Parts Forum, its owners, operators, administrators, moderators, employees, contractors, affiliates and representatives shall not be liable for any financial loss, business loss, lost profits, injury, death, fire, explosion, equipment damage, property damage, medical issue, data loss, privacy breach, indirect loss, consequential loss, special damages, punitive damages, disputes between users, fraudulent activity or service interruption arising from or relating to use of the Platform.

14. Indemnity

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mobility Parts Forum, its owners, operators, administrators, moderators, employees, contractors, affiliates and representatives from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, legal fees, costs or expenses arising from user content, user conduct, user transactions, breach of these Terms, misuse of the Platform or violation of laws or regulations.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may amend, modify or replace these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the Platform operator is established, unless mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
